5 lessons learned about speaking from my sons Dragon's Den Pitch
In case you don't know, Dragon's Den is a national show very similar to Shark Tank in the US. I'm so proud of my son Teagan for being the youngest participant in the show at 9 years old. Not only did he give an amazing presentation, he walked away with the support of the dragons for his DooGoods card game!
How did he make a successful pitch that wowed the Dragons and convinced them to invest in his idea?

Here's a summary of the 5 things you need to for any pitch to be successful:
- do your research and know your audience
- make it personal to those who are in your audience
- remember that everyone is really just like you
- practice!
- bring in the entertainment factor
